Resident Evil Revelations Review

Oh.... Its been so long since a scary Resident Evil has been released. Operation Raccoon City was pretty good and had some scary moments but was not that scary.

Resident Evil 6 was no horror at all and I disliked the game. Finally, a scary Resident Evil game has been released. Resident Evil Revelations is now available for XBOX 360, PS3 and Microsoft Windows. It is a port of the 3DS game. This new game is awesome.

Taking place before the events of Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil Revelations puts Chris Redfield aand his long-time friend and colleague, Jill Valentine, founders of the Bio-Terrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA), on a mission to the Cruiser Ship, Queen Zenobia, and then to Europe.

Resident Evil: Revelations has an addictive new game mode called Raid Mode, in that you level up, acquire better weapons, and earn combat perks. While largely similar to the main game—even to the point of using the same maps—Raid Mode challenges players to take a specific, customizable loadout and blow through a given stage, with an ever-increasing number of enemies, in the fastest time possible. Once you clear the first 20 stages, you can replay them on the next difficulty level, and then once more on the hardest difficulty level (it is truly nightmarish). So all I can say, is that this game is a total catch. All should buy it now.

The graphics are not that good (They are like Resident Evil 5). But are watchable and not a knife to the eyes.

So, it gets 9\10.

Wanted : Weapons Of Fate Review

Have you ever wondered if you can be an assassin in a video game who can curve bullets and slow down the time in the whole world? Well, you can in a video game called Wanted: Weapons Of Fate.

Wanted: Weapons Of Fate was released on March 17, 2009. The game sold 130,000 units through all platforms as of July 2009. It uses music from the 2008 blockbuster movie Wanted that is amazing and is a great plus point to the the game review.

Set about after 5 hours after the events in the film, Wesley Gibson's father's house in which he is living in presently, is raided by a number of SWAT-like soldiers who are actually people from the Barcelona (French) Fraternity. He then, continues his quest with a new mission to seek out the French chapter of the Fraternity, hunt down the Immortal, and finally discover the truth about his family.

It is a game which is filled with amazingly polished surroundings and great graphics. Even the characters are modeled fantastically. As you move forward in the game, you receive the ability to curve bullets. For example, if some cowards are hiding behind desk and firing at you, this ability will let you kill them. There is also an ability called Assassin Time which enables you to slow down the world, except for you.

You can kill a bunch of people through this technique. There are about twelve additional characters you can play with in the game. These characters are unlocked as you move forward in the game. For enabling  Assassin Time and curving bullets, there is a special bar that you got to fill up called Adrenaline bar. The Adrenaline bar can be filled by killing foes.

Those are the pros of the game, but there are some cons too. Repetitive game play may anger some hardcore or casual gamers. Limited features for example, you get to use only two weapons in the whole game (Sniper Rifle and Machine Guns in some places)

Overall, I recommend this game to all even with its cons. Have a blast with this video game!

So, I give it a 7\10.

Left 4 Dead 2 X Resident Evil 6 Crossover Revealed

Capcom announced today a new free crossover promotion that will bring the characters and creatures from Left 4 Dead 2 to Resident Evil 6 and vice versa.
Left 4 Dead 2 heroes Coach, Ellis, Rochelle, and Nick will be available as playable characters in Resident Evil 6's PC-exclusive No Mercy mode.
In addition to the four Left 4 Dead 2 characters, two special infected zombies from Valve's game--the Witch and the Mini Tank--will appear in Resident Evil 6's No Mercy mode.
Resident Evil 6 for PC launches March 22, but the crossover content won't arrive until April 5. It will be automatically downloaded in the background, Capcom said.
Not only are Left 4 Dead 2 characters and creatures coming to Resident Evil 6, but the crossover will also work the other way around. Resident Evil 6 enemies Lepotitsa, Napad, and Ogroman will be available in Left 4 Dead 2 sometime this spring. Capcom said these enemies were created by Valve developers using Steam Workshop tools.
Images of the crossover promotion are available below.

The Sims 3 Review

Would it not be cool to actually be able to control someone's life and daily activities? Some people might think of it as impossible, but it can actually happen through a video game called The Sims 3!

The Sims 3 is a life simulation game that was first released on June 2, 2009. It is one of the best life simulation games I have ever played till date. EA reported that in its first week, The Sims 3 sold 1.4 million copies. According to EA, this was the most successful PC game launch the company had ever had to date.
There are a lot of things you can do in this video game. First you have to Create A Sim to move on. You can chose from a range of hairstyles, clothes and shoes.

You can then chose whether you want your Sim as a new born, child, teen, young adult, adult or an elder. You can also change the weight of a person and add muscles to him\her. You also have to choose traits of the Sim like Inappropriate, Slob and Hopeless Romantic. The last and the most important step is to choose a Lifetime Wish for your Sim. According to the traits you choose, five options appear for a Lifetime Wish. After you create a Sim, it is the time to chose a house whether furnished or unfurnished. It is your choice.
After that, you can start playing!

Not only the daily activities, but you can also control the relationships of the Sims (people). For example, if you want to get into a romantic relationship, you have to actually interact with Sims in order to move forward to the next level of your relationship. It actually feels like it is happening to you in real life. You can even have affairs with other Sims while being married. Through expansion packs available in markets, you can add a lot of cool additional features like pets, new clothing, hairstyles etc.

In one particular expansion pack named Late Night, you have the ability to turn into a vampire through contact with other vampires. You can change back to normal if you want. In another expansion pack called Pets, you can bring animals in your house like horses, cats and dogs. If you do not feed or take care of your pet properly, a social worker is sent to your Sims home to take back the pet.

Moving back to the base game, if you do not follow the regime of a Sim, the Sim starts getting exhausted, feels nauseous and start smelling. A Sim can also have a child if he\she wants.

Some wishes appear soon that if are completed, make your Sim earn Lifetime Happiness points through which you can buy things like an Accomplished Writer.

In a few words, it is a game that I recommend to all who love this genre. Even the people who hate this genre, will start loving it after learning its features. So, go get it.

So, I give it a good 8.5\10.
